Discover the Top 5 Benefits of Choosing Contacts Over Glasses

As a kid, I never realized how bad my eyesight was until I went to the eye doctor. He put that machine in front of my face that makes everything super clear, and it was a game changer. Suddenly, I understood just how poor my vision really was. I remember getting my first pair of glasses and thinking, “Wow, can everyone see the individual leaves on trees like this?!” My doctor just laughed, but I was completely amazed.

It felt like seeing the world for the first time! Back in elementary school, glasses were the coolest thing. Everyone wanted a pair, but only the cool kids actually had them, or at least that’s what I thought. As I got older, though, I started to see glasses differently. They became the most annoying things ever, and I was so grateful when contact lenses came into the picture. Here are five reasons why glasses are just the worst:

1. They never fit right.
No matter which pair you get, they always end up sliding down your nose whether you’re running, walking, or just reading. Glasses are supposed to help you see better, but when they constantly slip down, it’s like they make seeing almost harder.

2. My eyes are too close together for glasses.
I don’t know about you, but my eyes are really close together, making me look a bit strange with most glasses. I can either go for kids’ glasses, which fit my face but look tiny, or adult glasses, which make my face look bigger but don’t squeeze the sides. It’s a tough choice.

3. I can’t fall asleep watching TV if I can’t see the TV.
Trying to watch TV lying down is such a hassle. The arms of my glasses get pushed up by the pillow, and I spend half the show adjusting them so I can actually see. Eventually, I give up and strain my eyes, which never works. So, I usually end up falling asleep with a blurry screen in front of me.

4. You have to pick between seeing the road or being blinded by sunlight.
There are those glasses that turn into sunglasses, but who has time for that? Not me. So, I’m always stuck choosing between seeing the road clearly or being blinded by the sun. It’s a no-win situation for people with glasses.

5. They’re like smartphones, with new styles coming out all the time.
Keeping up with the latest glasses trends is impossible. I thought my thick black frames would always be stylish, but I was so wrong. Trends change constantly, and it’s hard to keep up.

In short, glasses can be a real pain!
